Mother’s Day is quickly approaching!

Besides taking the time to make your mom feel special this Sunday, reflect on the wisdom your mom passed on to you.

In our Facebook contest this month, we asked riders to share the best piece of advice they got from mom. The responses we’re getting are great … some make us laugh, some surprise us.

Pearls of Wisdom From Moms of Motorcycle Riders:

Be careful.

Be happy.

Slow down.

Keep trying.

Never give up.

Follow your heart.

Wear your hat and gloves!

Never give up on your dreams.

Keep the rubber side down.

Don’t call me up if the cops catch you.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Baking powder & baking soda are NOT the same thing.

If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.

If it would make a good newspaper headline then don’t do it.

Never try to hide your height around men to make them feel better.

Don’t upset a federal judge. They are more powerful than G-d.

If you don’t have respect for yourself, nobody else will either.

Tough times don’t last, tough people do. And you’re as tough as they come!!

Always defend those who are unable to defend themselves.

Always wear clean underwear; you never know when you’ll be in an accident!

Take care of yourself. There’s only one of you and you’re needed.

Don’t be the one to start the fight but if you get into one you better finish it.

Give everyone a smile; you don’t know what kind of day they had and you can improve it.
